Lieneke van Campen

Lieneke van Campen (1973) is a landscape architect and a managing partner at Karres en Brands. She started at the agency in 2001 and has been part of the management team since 2013. Lieneke combines her many years of experience as a landscape architect with her commercial and organizational talent. She is responsible, among other things, for finances, contractual affairs, and internal organization. She is always on the move and makes sure that the agency is equally dynamic, both internally and externally. Her aim is to ensure that the team can set to work with a great deal of energy and enthusiasm. 

Lieneke studied at Hogeschool Larenstein and the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam. Her final project for the Razende Bol on the island of Texel was nominated for the Archiprix 2006. Lieneke has contributed to various projects at the agency over many years, including transformation of the Nieuwe Ooster, a crematorium cemetery and memorial park in Amsterdam, urban design for the Bosrijk residential project in Eindhoven, design for the general cemetery in Langedijk, design for the Quirijnpark in Tilburg, and PPS projects, including De Kromhoutkazerne, Haga hospital, and the Palace of Justice.

She is also a supervisor of Bosrijk in Eindhoven and the Science Park in Amsterdam in addition to her work for the agency. She teaches Design and Management at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam, is an active member of the NVTL, was a member of the jury for the WAF awards in 2022, and has been a member of the jury for the EGHN, European Garden Heritage Network, since 2019.
