Last May, Elderman Laurens Ivens opened the construction period of ‘Our Domain Amsterdam Southeast’ which will be the largest housing project in the municipality. Fifteen hundred houses developed in the Greystar’s ‘Our Domain’ concept will be realized for students and starters, directly adjacent to the train station of Holendrecht and the Amsterdam Medical Centre (AMC). The dwellings, designed by OZ architects, are divided over three buildings that mark a strategic change in the office district of Amsterdam Southeast. Karres+brands designed an informal campus landscape that connects the buildings and plays a central role in the collective living environment.
